VCCE is Your Gateway to Entrepreneurship at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It aims to cultivate entrepreneurship among CUHK students with events that enrich their understanding of entrepreneurship and challenge their creativity and perseverance. It also helps nurture future entrepreneurs within the University network and selects student teams to represent the University at regional, national, and international competitions.
- Both individual and team applications are accepted. Team size: 1 – 6 members
- Individual applicant or team leader must be current CUHK undergraduate or postgraduate student (full-time or part-time) by application deadline.
- Team composition: More than 50% of the team should be current CUHK students.
VCCE is beginner-friendly. We will offer training and opportunities for on-site consultation to equip you with knowledge and skills during the Mixer Event.

• 1st Runner-up: HK$ 8,000
• 2nd Runner-up: HK$ 6,000
- Green lane to The Hong Kong University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and other local and/or regional competitions (subject to rules and regulations of respective competition organising committee)

- Networking Opportunities – meet like-minded entrepreneurs and investors in our follow-up events
Innovation and Creativity (20%)
Demonstrates clear creativity or innovation in the idea, prototype, product, application, service, etc.
Clearly identifies a market need and presents a feasible approach to addressing and capturing that opportunity.
Sustainable and Scalable Business Model (15%)
Demonstrates a sustainable business model with clear potential for future growth and scalability.
Team Background and Strengths (25%)
Shows that the team has the capabilities and relevant expertise to execute the business plan effectively.
Delivers a clear, engaging and convincing presentation that holds audience’s attention.
